Building a matcha brand from scratch, with a clear taste profile in mind and no idea what to do first. She wanted to work with a farm directly rather than buy through a trader.
We loved working with Hana, who guided us through the entire matcha sourcing process. She really helped bring our vision to life, and we could not be more grateful. What we did

The craft
Matcha, where shading the plants before harvest is what produces the sweetness, and stone milling is what produces the texture. Both are decisions the farm makes, not the buyer.
The outcome
Found her supplier partner, independently validated by the founder of Nami Matcha. Now developing matcha blends built specifically for the brand.
